Jim Morrison was best known as the lead singer of the band The Doors, and introduced the world of rock to a new kind of rock n roll by combining psychedelic rock with poetic lyrics.

Besides being a sex symbol and the ultimate rock star of his time, he was also a published poet. Throughout his career Morrison would avidly staged live spoken word poems. 

Some of his most notable hits with the The Doors were "Light My Fire", "People Are Strange" and "Love Her Madly", just to name a few. Morrison was also the lyricist of the group.

When we think of  Jim Morrison, we have this image of him in our minds and its the famous shots Joel Brodsky took of him titled "The Young Lion". These black and white images are the most iconic images of Jim Morrison.

Terry Richardson is an American fashion photographer whose shots are quiet eccentric to say the least...

Getting his start as an assistant to photographer Tony Kent, Richardson has collaborated with many high profile celebrities.

Some of his campaigns consist of Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Yves Saint Laurent. His editorials are standouts, when your flipping the pages of Vogue, Vanity Fair or GQ you know when your glancing at a Richardson editorial. 

His style of photography is usually consistent of celebrities doing the mundane day to day activities, however glorifying it. A sense of sexual connotation is also quiet prominent in his work especially in his recently released work titled "TERRYWOOD".

His style of photography maybe a bit too bold for some, but however you view his photography it does grab your attention and make a bold statement.

Ozwald Boateng

Ozwald Boateng is a designer that isn't afraid to use vibrant colors and when it comes to a well fitted suit, he is your man.

British fashion designer Ozwald Boateng was introduced to design at the very young age of 16 while he was attending Southgate college.

Debuting his first collection during Paris Fashion Week in 1994 the world of fashion received its first taste of Boateng's style.

Boateng was assigned as creative director of the menswear collection for Givenchy and released his first collection in 2004, however he parted in 2007.

His designs have a modern flare and he doesn't fuss much with prints. His design aesthetic is straight to the point, it's all about the well dressed man in solid hues and not being afraid to be bold when it comes to fashion.

When we look at the pages of Paris Vogue, first name that comes to mind is Carine Roitfeld...

Roitfeld commanded the pages of vogue for 10 years and ended her career in January 2011. 

She began her career as a model, however started making an impact in the fashion scene when she was a writer and then progressed to a stylist for French Elle. 

Mario Testino met Carine on the sets of an Italian Vogue shoot in 1990. Roitfeld mentioned she felt her best styling work came after meeting Testino..

She has an extensive resume, collaborating with Testino the duo did advertisement and shoots for both French and American Vogue. 

She has worked with fashion power houses such as Gucci, YSL, Missoni, Versace and Calvin Klein.

Now Carine Roitfeld has launched her own magazine titled CR Fashion Book and mentions it is quite different from her work at Paris Vogue...

The Artist

American artist and sculptor Jeff Koons designs are truly out of this world. 

When you think of Koons first thing that comes to mind is the large scale puppy in front of Frank Gehry's Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, Spain. It truly is a show stopper!

One of my favorite works of Koons is his Celebration series. These sculptures and paintings consisted of large scale tulips, balloon toy dogs, and valentine hearts.

This series consisted of 20 varies scupltures and 5 different colors. Made of high chromium stainless steel with a mirror finish exterior the sculptures glisten in the moonlight...

Jeff Koons is an artist that looks to the future and his creations are full of life...

 Testino's most famous images were of the late Diana, princess of Wales in 1997. The iconic images were classic Testino work...

Testino relaunched the luxury line Gucci in 1995 with creative director Tom Ford and Carine Roitfield. After great appraise from his collaboration with Gucci, Madonna requested Testino to shoot her for her Versace campaign. 

During a period in the mid 90's when supermodels were charging sky high fees Testino chose to shoot with Kate Moss a lesser known model at the time. Ever since their first collaboration their layouts have been quiet memorable...

His images are done so beautifully and tell a story with just a single frame, leaving you wanting more. As Testino says  "I photograph what I see and what I want to see"and we love what Mario Testino sees through his lens.
