TIE ME UP

Bow to the bow tie...

Add a bit of masculine style to your look, this accessory will add another level of class to your ensemble...

I find the look to be incredibly classy and a definite must...

Stick to soft black silk bow ties by LANVIN and YSL or edge it up with a leather bow tie with spikes. LA based designer Marco Marco has an amazing collection of edgy bow ties.

When it comes to the bow tie size does not matter, it all depends how bold you want to be.

The androgynous look has transcended in the past few seasons but its key to still keep it sexy by always adding a feminine touch...

BRASS KNUCKLES

One accessory I just can't get enough of the past few seasons is knuckle rings...

This is one piece of jewelry I can not leave home without. One of my favorite LA based designers Loree Rodkin can do no wrong when it comes to knuckle rings...

With mine I like to wear them two or three at a time, I love the intricate designs and gem work on all of her pieces.

I also adore anything in yellow gold...

YSL's Arty rings are my prized possessions. I love the textured gold plated rings with the oval glass stones they are adorned with, which is why I always walk into the room dripping in gold...

Force Of Nature

Steven Meisel handpicked the unconventional beauty for Prada's fall 2003 ad campaign and Daria Werbowy's modeling career sky rocketed.

Daria is the face of Lancome and still holds the record for the highest number of opening and closing runway shows in a single season.

She captivates you with her poses and is a true supermodel of our day.

Besides commanding the runway Daria has done charity work as well, working through Lancome benefiting less fortunate youth in Brazil...

No one described Daria Werbowy better than Karl Lagerfeld “She is much more than a model - a personality and a unique beauty, a rare mix.”

ARM CANDY

Don't be selective this season on what bags to carry, its time to venture out...

The runways were filled with an array of styles of beautiful arm candy...

We had structured clutches in leathers and color blocked  grand lady like bags from Tory Burch and elegant feathered mini night outs from Marchesa.

BIRTH OF COOL

Last name London first name Theophilus has a style that is not easily defined.

Known for his fashion sense Theophilus London stands alone...

Creating couture pieces for himself London puts gold buttons and royal patches on vintage jackets or adds unique accents such as tearing off the zipper on a thrift store sweatshirt and replacing it with a gold accented one.

Theophilus London pushes to be innovative in his music and style.

Sticking to color blocking fitted suits and his staple gold jewelry he is sure to be one musician to grab every ones attention...

COLOR BOMB

While Gazing in awe at Oscar De La  Renta's spring 2012 collection go down the catwalk I was deliriously in love.

It was all about the glam god...

The collection was full of beautifully hued jewel toned pieces.. Ruby reds, emerald greens and a mixture of floral prints...

The day wear was full of form fitted pieces of suits and dresses with hints of fur vests that added modern seventies vibe to the collection.

The evening wear was all about volume! The full skirts with the laced sequined tops commanded the runway, which was a total contrast from the A line silhouetted pieces and blush toned gowns with feathered accents...

Gurung Fever

The Nepalese designer hit the ground running with his spring 2012 collection...

I was full of excitement seeing all the beautiful lavender floral prints down the runway with sexy cutouts, sheer detailing and bondage accents.

The catwalk was filled with walking canvases and the splashes of color were amazing !!!

Some pieces had a more sharper edge with a futuristic touch.

Must say after seeing his spring collection my temperature is rising and I definitely caught Gurung fever...

Made In Italy

No one represents pure elegance and timeless beauty like Italian import Sophia Loren...

She captured the cinema and won her first academy award in 1961 for "Two Women".

Her style is classic, sticking to cat eye sunglasses and body hugging pieces that accentuate her curves.

Loren is a regular at all of Gorgio Armani's runway collections and at one point was even considered his muse. This explains why her style hasn't missed a mark since the beginning of her cinematic career.

To this day her presence is captivating and her style timeless.

LUCA SEXY

One of  my favorite designers that I'm extremely excited to see during New York fashion week next week is LUCA LUCA.

Creative Director Raul Melgoza's  designs are always full of clean lines and pure sophistication with a hint of color.

Melgoza's resort 2012 collection was a mixture of pure whites and soft champagne pieces...

Overall the collection  is quite intriguing filled with clever patterns, crisp white tunics and leaves us yearning for more of his long elegant pieces that ooze grace...

Save the date everyone this is one collection you don't want to miss!
