Helmut Newton was definitely the type of fashion photographer that raised the bar..

His style was very specific, mostly sticking to black and white photography with a hint of tastefully done eroticism...

Newton specialized in fetish driven photography, his portrayal of beautiful statuesque women in sky high stilletoes and heavy makeup in immaculate locations was his fortay...

Newton died in 2004 due to a car crash outside the Chateau Marmont hotel, however his legacy of  beautiful work lives on...
